Genetic counseling offers information, options for families facing cancer
Genetic counseling is offered by the Cotton-O’Neil Cancer Center for individuals and families who may want to learn more about possible genetic links to cancer within their family.
To get genetic counseling, a person is often referred by his or her primary care physician or an oncologist, but sometimes a person who has questions about cancer within a family, may contact the counselor directly for assistance.
If you are interested in learning more about genetic counseling services offered by the Cotton-O’Neil Cancer Center, call (785) 354-5300, or click on this link for a brochure about genetic counseling services.
