Health Connections’ Ask-A-Nurse Service Is Available to Answer Your Health Questions

When you are unsure of what to do about a child’s fever or need guidance about a senior’s non-emergent medical symptom that is causing concern, turn to the Ask-A-Nurse service at Stormont-Vail’s Health Connections. The trained nurses at Health Connections are available to assist with health information for you and your family after the doctor’s office has closed.

Ask-A-Nurse is available at the Health Connections’ number – (785) 354-5225 – from 4:30 p.m. to 8 a.m. Monday through Friday and around-the-clock on weekends and holidays. The service is available to Cotton-O’Neil patients as well as others in the community.

Health Connections’ resource representatives are also available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for physician referral and class registration. The Stormont-Vail HealthCare program was established in 1994 and it consistently serves 20,000 callers a month.

Ask-A-Nurse and Stormont-Vail’s Health Connections is ready to help you and your family connect to health resources.
