Since 1984, the Stormont-Vail Foundation has been active in health care philanthropy by raising, managing and disbursing funds to help improve the health of people living in northeast Kansas. Governed by a volunteer board, the Foundation works in concert with Stormont-Vail HealthCare to bring top-quality, comprehensive, caring health and medical services to the region.

Continuing the century-old legacy of caring for generations, the Foundation supports patient care services, wellness and health education, new initiatives and advanced technologies.

The Foundation makes available the channels through which donors may share in the philanthropic objectives of Stormont-Vail. Among these channels are annual gift programs, special events, endowments and planned gifts. Taking its role as a steward of community assets seriously, the Foundation strives to exceed expectations in meeting community health needs consistent with donor wishes.
