(Topeka, Kan., Dec. 28, 2011) – Stormont-Vail HealthCare and Cotton-O'Neil Clinic announce the return of family medicine physician Karli J. Pigg-Alderson, M.D., to the Medical Arts Clinic, 118 W. Fourth St. Dr., in Lebo. Dr. Alderson will see patients one day per week beginning Tuesday, Jan. 3.
A native of Topeka, Dr. Alderson received her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City, Kan., in 2002. She completed a family medicine residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, in 2005. She has clinical interests in preventive medicine for the entire family. She is board certified in family medicine. Dr. Alderson was in practice as the family medicine physician at Medical Arts Clinic - Lebo from 2006 to 2007. In 2007, she relocated to Franklin, Tenn., where she married and began practicing as a clinical faculty member at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, in Nashville.
