(Topeka, Kan., July 22, 2011) – Teera Chentanez, M.D., infectious disease specialty physician has joined Clifton Jones, M.D., in practice at Cotton-O'Neil Clinic.
Infectious disease specialists are dedicated to diagnosing and treating infectious diseases that arise from exposure to infectious diseases or that may follow organ transplantation, or occur after a surgical procedure.
Dr. Chentanez has relocated to the Topeka area from Worcester, Mass., where he recently completed his medical education. Originally from Thailand, Dr. Chentanez received his medical degree from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, in 2004. He completed his residency training in internal medicine at the University of Hawaii, Honolulu, in 2009. He most recently completed a fellowship in infectious disease at the University of Massachusetts, Worchester, in 2011. His clinical interests include: general infectious disease, HIV, and infectious disease among cancer patients.
