Cotton-O'Neil Clinical Research Center Plans
Evening of Research Participant Appreciation and Art Exhibit

(Topeka, Kan., Oct. 13, 2011) – The Cotton-O'Neil Clinical Research Center, a division of Stormont-Vail HealthCare, is sponsoring An Evening of Research Participant Appreciation to honor the more than 4,000 people throughout the community who have volunteered their time and effort to support the advancement of medicine. This open house event is being held in conjunction with the First Friday Artwalk.

922 N. Kansas Ave.

During the evening, research volunteers will have the opportunity to artistically express their personal feelings about participating in clinical research on a silk canvas. The completed artwork will be displayed in the future at clinical research offices on the campus of Stormont-Vail.

Clinical research participants will also be able to display their work in a Power of Participation art exhibit. Artwork of any form is welcome. The Cotton-O'Neil Clinical Research Center conducts more than 150 clinical trials in a variety of therapeutic areas throughout Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center and Cotton-O'Neil Clinic.
