(Topeka, Kan., Sept. 29, 2009) -- Cotton-O'Neil Clinic, a division of Stormont-Vail HealthCare, has been notified by its seasonal flu vaccine vendor, that shipment of the remaining vaccine has been delayed until late November. Because of this delay, the Walk-in Seasonal Flu Shot Clinic scheduled to begin Tuesday, October 6 has been postponed until further notice.
The Cotton-O'Neil Drive-thru Flu Shot Clinic will continue as originally planned. The last two days of the clinic are Wednesday, September 30 and Thursday, October 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The entrance to the Drive-thru Flu Shot Clinic is located at 9th and Garfield, near the west entrance to the Stormont-Vail parking garage. To participate in the Cotton-O'Neil Drive-thru Flu Shot Clinic, you must be a Cotton-O'Neil patient, over the age of 18 who has had a seasonal flu vaccination without complications
Cotton-O'Neil patients, who have not yet gotten a flu shot and meet the requirements, should go to the Cotton-O'Neil Drive-thru Flu Shot Clinic if possible.
