Stormont-Vail HealthCare Announces Seasonal and H1N1 Vaccine Walk-in Clinics for Cotton-O'Neil and PediatricCare Patients

(Topeka, Kan., Nov. 24, 2009) – Stormont-Vail HealthCare and Cotton-O'Neil Clinic have scheduled two additional flu vaccination clinics for Cotton-O'Neil and PediatricCare patients only.

Seasonal Flu Vaccination Clinic
Wednesday, Dec. 2 • 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Cotton-O'Neil Heart Center
929 S.W. Mulvane

Available to Cotton-O'Neil and PediatricCare patients who fit within the following groups:

  • Children and adults, ages 3 and older

H1N1 Flu Vaccination Clinic
Thursday, Dec. 10 • 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Cotton-O'Neil Heart Center
929 S.W. Mulvane

The H1N1 vaccine will be available to Cotton-O'Neil and PediatricCare patients who fit within one or more of the following groups:

  • Children, 6 months to 24 years old
  • Pregnant women
  • Health care workers
  • Caregivers of children 6 months and younger
  • Adults ages 25 to 64 with underlying health conditions

To receive either the H1N1 or seasonal flu vaccine, you must not be currently experiencing flu-like symptoms.

Vaccine Information Sheets and Vaccine Consent Forms are available on www.stormontvail.org. Participants are asked to bring a completed form with them to help make for a more efficient wait time.

Should the supply of the vaccine run out before 4 p.m., a message will be posted on stormontvail.org and the Stormont-Vail HealthCare Flu Information Line at (785) 354-6789.
