Prudhvi Rajan Karumanchi, M.D., MPH Joins Stormont-Vail Adult Hospitalist Program
(Topeka, Kan., Oct. 7, 2011) – Prudvi Rajan Karumanchi, M.D., MPH, has recently joined the adult hospitalist program at Stormont-Vail HealthCare.
Dr. Karumanchi obtained his medical degree from Andhra Medical College, Andhra Pradesh, India. He completed a master's degree in Public Health at Idaho State University, Pocatello, Idaho, in 2005. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Danville, Ill., in 2009.
Dr. Karumanchi completed a fellowship in sleep medicine at Case Western Reserve University, and its affiliated hospitals, Metro Health Medical Center and Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio, in 2010. He also completed a fellowship in geriatric medicine at Loyola University Medical Center and Edward Hines, Jr. Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Hines, Ill., in 2011. He is board certified in internal medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the American College of Physicians.
