Cotton-O’Neil Clinic Adds Additional Family Medicine Physician

(Topeka, Kan., July 17, 2008) – Stormont-Vail HealthCare proudly welcomes Michael Lexow, M.D., to the Cotton-O’Neil medical staff. Dr. Lexow is the 13th family medicine physician available to care for the primary health care, treatment and wellness of patients.

Dr. Lexow, an Emporia native, previously practiced at a medical clinic in Lansing, Kan. Some of his administrative duties included being the Medical Director of the Cushing Diabetic Education Program and serving as a member of the Intensive Care Unit Audit Committee at Cushing Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Lexow received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Wichita, in 1999. He completed a family medicine residency at Family Medicine Residency of Topeka in 2002. During his residency he was designated as the Chief Resident among his peers. Dr. Lexow is board certified in Family Medicine. Additionally, he is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
