(Topeka, Kan., Aug. 9, 2011) – Vamsee Priya Marina, M.D., has recently joined the nephrology specialty clinic at Cotton-O'Neil Clinic, 823 S.W. Mulvane in Topeka.
Dr. Marina received her medical degree at Guntur Medical College, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India, in 2003. After her graduation, she relocated to the United States and began a residency in internal medicine at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, in Toledo, Ohio, which she completed in 2009. During this time, she was awarded the Best Resident in Academic Excellence distinction. She completed a fellowship in nephrology at the University of Toledo Medical Center, Toledo, in 2011.
Dr. Marina is board certified in internal medicine. She is a member of the American Society of Nephrology and the Renal Physicians Association.
