(Topeka, Kan., May 2, 2008) – Stormont-Vail HealthCare’s HealthWise 55 is celebrating Older Americans Month by planning activities the first week of May. Celebration events planned for older adults include an ice cream social and birthday party, a tour of the Ward-Meade Home and bingo. The events are open to anyone in the community. Wednesday May 7: Continental Breakfast at the Ward-Meade Home
Ward-Meade Historic Site, 124 N.W. Fillmore • 10 to 11:30 a.m. • Free • Tour Old Prairie Town at the historic site and enjoy a continental breakfast in the Ward-Meade Home.
