(Topeka, Kan., April 22, 2011) – After nearly 35 years of caring for Topeka area kids, F.E. Patrick, M.D. is retiring effective April 29, 2011. Dr. Patrick, a native of Kansas City, began his career as a pediatrician at Pediatrics P.A., Topeka, in 1977. Pediatrics, P.A., became part of the Medical Services Division of Stormont-Vail HealthCare in 1991, and its name changed to PediatricCare.
In 2010, Dr. Patrick was instrumental in starting the Vaccines for Children program at PediatricCare, as well as the "Turn-a-Page, Touch-a-Mind" literacy program. His love of children and dedication to the well being of his patient families has earned him respect and admiration throughout the community.
