Cotton-O'Neil ExpressCare Recruits Physician for Immediate Care Clinic
(Topeka, Kan., Feb. 8, 2011) -- Cotton-O'Neil Clinic, a division of Stormont-Vail HealthCare announces the addition of Billy Richardson, Jr., M.D., to Cotton-O'Neil ExpressCare - Urish. ExpressCare is a walk-in immediate care clinic created for minor illnesses or injuries that can't be immediately treated by one's own physician, or are not serious enough to require a visit to a hospital emergency department.
Dr. Richardson, who has been in practice since 1989, completed his medical degree at the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine, Oklahoma City, in 1986. He then completed an internship and residency in Family Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan., in 1989. He is board certified in Family Medicine and most recently practiced as a primary care and urgent care physician at Kickapoo Nation Health Center, in Horton. He is currently a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Kansas Academy of Family Physicians.
Cotton-O'Neil ExpressCare - Urish, located at 6725 S.W. 29th St., is where Dr. Richardson will primarily practice. Additionally, beginning Monday, Feb. 14, this same ExpressCare location will expand its weekday morning hours to:
Monday through Friday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Weekend hours will remain: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
