(Topeka, Kan., Jan. 23, 2008) – Stormont-Vail HealthCare and Cotton-O’Neil Clinic welcome the addition of psychiatric physician Radu H. Teodorescu, M.D. to the medical staff of Behavioral Health Services at Stormont-Vail–West in Topeka. Dr. Teodorescu will serve as the medical director of the Senior Diagnostic Clinic at Stormont-Vail HealthCare.
Dr. Teodorescu received his medical degree from Carol Davila School of Medicine, Bucharest, Romania, in 1996. Carol Davila is the largest institution of its kind in Romania. The University uses the facilities of over 20 clinical hospitals in Bucharest. He completed an internal medicine internship at the Coltea Hospital, also in Bucharest, in 1998. Dr. Teodorescu relocated to the U.S. in 1999 and completed an internship in internal medicine at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, New York City, in 2000. He completed a psychiatric residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, in 2003. Dr. Teordorescu is board certified in psychiatry.
Most recently, Dr. Teodorescu practiced as in inpatient adult psychiatrist at the St. Louis Metropolitan Psychiatric Center in St. Louis, Mo.
