(Topeka, Kan., Aug. 21, 2012) – Cotton-O'Neil Clinic announces the addition of Brian F. Wilson, M.D. to the orthopedic surgery program. Dr. Wilson joins Michael T. McCoy, M.D., orthopaedic surgeon, at Cotton-O'Neil Clinic – Orthopedic Surgery, 823 S.W. Mulvane St., Suite 370 in Topeka. He is now accepting new appointments at (785) 270-8880.
Dr. Wilson received his medical degree at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine in 2005. He completed a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Missouri– Kansas City, in 2011. He also completed a fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine at the University of Kentucky School of Medicine, Lexington, Ky., in 2012. His clinical interests include: orthopaedic sports medicine, arthroscopic shoulder and knee surgery, athletic team coverage and education, and total joint replacement surgery.
Dr. Wilson is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, The Gold Humanism Medical Honor Society, the Metropolitan Medical Society of Greater Kansas City, and the American Medical Association.
