LifeStar of Kansas

Jointly owned by Stormont-Vail and St. Francis Health Center, Life Star of Kansas is a helicopter emergency transport service on call 24 hours a day from two locations: Lawrence and Junction City. Life Star provides hospital to hospital transfers as well as direct scene responses for critically ill or injured persons throughout northeast Kansas. Started in 1988, Life Star of Kansas has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) since 1996.
