The Stormont-Vail Patient Transfer Line is a single
point of access to assist with trauma transfers and admissions
to Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center.

The Trauma Surgeon on call should be contacted immediately for all patients who meet Trauma Team Activation Criteria. The referring healthcare provider will be connected with the Trauma Surgeon immediately for patients with severe traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, thoracic/abdominal/pelvic trauma, and multi-system trauma.

The Orthopedic Surgeon on call will be contacted for all isolated orthopedic injuries.
