24-hour coverage – After hours and on weekends, treatment is provided by the emergency department of Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center. The full resources of a major regional medical center are always available to you and your employees for optimal health care service.

Prompt, paperless communication – Stormont-Vail WorkCare will notify you, the employer, about the injured worker within 24 hours and will track injuries through the entire worker’s compensation process. Rapid, paperless communications is what makes WorkCare unique.

Comprehensive packages and customized care – The dedicated professionals at Stormont-Vail WorkCare will design a complete occupational health program that meets the needs of your business and your individual employees.

Health and safety services – Stormont-Vail WorkCare provides a full range of services to assist area employers in optimizing employee health and safety, ranging from health screenings, pre-placement, fit for duty, and Department of Transportation physicals, and full service drug screening and management services.

Preventive programs – A comprehensive program of education and wellness for the workplace is available to your employees through Stormont-Vail WorkCare. Services range from free safety walk-through evaluations to health risk profiles and smoking cessation education.

Injury treatment – Appropriate referral to physical and occupational therapy can be made with your approval, with direct supervision by the WorkCare physician. Trigger point and joint injections can be performed if indicated on site without referral to a specialist. Referrals to the specialist of your choice can be made in a seamless fashion.
