Treatment Programs

For workers with certain types of injuries or chronic disorders, access to appropriate physical and occupational therapy and rehabilitation can be the difference between a speedy transition back to the work force or months or even years of being unproductive.

As part of its care program, Stormont-Vail WorkCare offers access to comprehensive, high-quality care to injured workers. Treatment focuses on education, rehabilitation, and management of symptoms and future prevention. Appropriate referral to physical and occupational therapy can be made with your approval, with direct supervision by the WorkCare physician.

Customized therapy programs can include, but are not limited to:

• Fit-for-duty screens
• Functional capacity evaluations
• Injury prevention education
• Trigger point and joint injections
