Stormont Vail Health is committed to education: educational programs for future health care professionals, and continuing education for its own staff and others in the health care community.
The organization houses the Baker University School of Nursing on its main campus in Topeka, and has close ties to other area nursing and medical schools. It also provides training experiences to university students in a variety of areas, and developed a Pharmacy Residency Program.
Stormont Vail Health also has a well developed continuing education program for nurses, professional development for staff, and is affiliated with the Kansas Medical Education Foundation.

The Stormont Vail Medical Education Services is accredited by the Kansas Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
