LPN IV Therapy
This course is a combination of five didactic days plus a day of clinical experience designed to prepare LPNs to safely and confidently administer intravenous fluid therapy. Areas covered include physiology of the circulatory system, pharmacology, infection control, documentation, calculation of infusion rates and demonstration of skills. Participants must successfully complete a comprehensive written exam and demonstrate skills in order to meet the KSBN requirements for certification in IV therapy.
