Jennifer Waterman, DO is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who is a subspecialist in foot and ankle surgery. She completed her medical degree at Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Blacksburg VA. She did her five-year orthopedic residency at Wellmont Orthopedic Residency at Holston Valley Medical Center Kingsport, TN. She completed her foot and ankle fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. She is the only orthopedic fellowship trained foot and ankle specialist in Topeka. She offers comprehensive foot and ankle orthopedic care, treating the full spectrum of foot and ankle injuries, trauma, deformities, and diseases. She also is the only orthopedic surgeon in Topeka offering and trained in total ankle replacement to address ankle arthritis. Dr. Waterman’s medical training and experience as a Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force also allows her to use her knowledge of whole-body medical conditions to recognize and integrate best practices that may impact patient care beyond the feet and ankles. Dr. Waterman is an active member of the American Orthopaedic of Foot and Ankle Society, the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. She is excited to be part of Cotton O’Neil Orthopedic and Sport Medicine team and bring her foot and ankle expertise to the diverse orthopedic team at Stormont Vail.
