Pulmonology, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine
This pulmonology, critical care and sleep medicine physicians diagnose and manage all disorders of the lung and pulmonary circulation system. Complete evaluation of acute and chronic respiratory illnesses is provided on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
Among the lung diseases and conditions they treat are:
- Chronic bronchitis and emphysema (COPD)
- Chronic cough
- Dyspnea – shortness of breath
- Interstitial lung disease
- Lung cancer
- Pulmonary circulation disorders
- Pulmonary rehabilitation
- Patients utilizing ventilators
- Medical ICU patient care
- Sleep medicine
These physicians also participate in the Adult Intensivist Program at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center. As specialists in pulmonary and critical care medicine, they make rounds in the Critical Care Unit daily and remain in the area to care for hospitalized patients. They are also available by pager to respond to the immediate need of a patient during evening hours.
