  • Travis DeVader, M.D., Emergency Medicine Physician, Joins Stormont-Vail HealthCare

    Stormont‐Vail HealthCare announces the addition of Travis DeVader, M.D., to the Stormont‐Vail Emergency and Trauma Center physician team.

    Dr. DeVader, a Holton native, received his medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City, in 2008. He completed a residency program in Emergency Medicine at St. Luke’s Hospital and Health Network, Bethlehem, Penn., in 2011. He went on to complete a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine at San Diego Hospice and the Institute for Palliative Medicine, San Diego, Calif., in 2012. Dr. DeVader has practiced as a Palliative Medicine physician and as an emergency medicine physician. He most recently was employed as the Director of Hospice and Palliative Medicine at Kaweah Delta Healthcare District, Visalia, Calif.

    Dr. DeVader is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Palliative Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine, the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Care.

  • Sherri Jackson, M.D., MPH, Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician, Joins Stormont-Vail HealthCare

    Stormont-Vail HealthCare announces the addition of Sherri Jackson, M.D., MPH, to the Maternal Fetal Medicine Department. She joins John Evans, M.D. in practice at Stormont-Vail.

    Dr. Jackson received her Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Liberal Arts accelerated degree at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, in 2004. She also completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, in 2008. She completed a Master’s of Public Health degree in Epidemiology at University of California, Los Angeles, in 2010. She completed a fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, in 2011. Most recently she has been in practice as a maternal fetal medicine physician at Obstetrix Medical Group of Kansas and Missouri, P.A. in Kansas City. 

    Dr. Jackson is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal fetal medicine. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine.

    Dr. Jackson sees patients by physician referral.
