Stormont Vail Hospital Amenities

Stormont Vail Hospital features many amenities to help make patients and visitors comfortable during their time with us.

Lobby Ambassadors

Our Lobby Ambassadors are a special group of volunteers who work at the Main Entrance and other public entrances to help escort patients, families, and visitors to their destinations in the hospital. The Lobby Ambassadors also help transport patients and visitors in need of wheelchair assistance.

Food Connection

The Stormont Vail Health Auxiliary Food Connection offers dine-in and carryout food services Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Food Connection is on the main floor of the North Tower, just around the corner from the Main Entrance. It features daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner specials, as well as an extensive sandwich and burger menu, hot and cold beverages, and to-go items. Gift Shop

Next door to the Food Connection on the first floor of the North Tower is the Stormont Vail Health Auxiliary Gift Shop. It offers a wide variety of gifts, snacks, candies, flowers, plants, jewelry, magazines, games, and toys. Proceeds from both the Food Connection and Gift Shop go toward the Stormont Vail Health Auxiliary, which then funds programs and projects throughout the hospital. Sunflower Terrace Cafeteria

Located in the North Tower basement, the Sunflower Terrace Cafeteria offers daily entrees, sides, soups, make-your-own sandwich bar, ready-to-go grill items, desserts, and drinks.

The employee cafeteria, located on the ground floor of the North Tower, is available to visitors and guests from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and 7 to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. It is open on weekends from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Java Plaza

For specialty coffees, teas, smoothies, and snacks, visit Java Plaza on the first floor lobby of the South Tower. Java Plaza is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
