A Better Way to Manage Medications & Out-of-Pocket Costs

When you get a new prescription, you'll get a text from DrFirst, our mobile medication manager, informing you when the pharmacy receives it. This text is legitimate, not a scam.

This service is available to patients with a mobile number on file. You can unsubscribe any time by replying “Stop.”

What is DrFirst?

DrFirst helps patients stay informed and on track with their medications. This free service offers educational information about your prescriptions and discounts to lower out-of-pocket costs.

This service adheres to HIPAA and other applicable federal and state privacy rules and uses strong encryption to protect all communications and personal information.

Here's How DrFirst Works

  1. This text includes a link to a secure, HIPAA-compliant site (and an unsubscribe option).
  2. When you click the link, you'll receive a second message asking for your first name and date of birth to verify your identity.
  3. Once you confirm your details, you'll get a one-time code to enter the portal and access your medication records, discounts, and more.

Education Connection

PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program

The Stormont Vail Health PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program is a one-year training program offering a broad range of pharmacy practice experience. Our mission is to provide our residents with experiences that develop the knowledge, skills, and values they need to support excellent pharmaceutical care for the patients they serve during their residency and throughout their careers.

PGY2 Pharmacy Residency Program

The Stormont Vail Health PGY2 Pharmacy Residency Program contributes to the development of clinical pharmacists in specialized areas of practice by building on Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD.) education and PGY1 pharmacy residency programs. PGY2 provides residents with opportunities to function independently as practitioners, conceptualizing and integrating accumulated experience and knowledge and incorporating both the provision of patient care and other advanced practice settings. Completion of an accredited PGY2 Pharmacy Residency Program prepares residents for advanced patient care, academic, or other specialized positions, along with board certification, if available.
