About
My name is Melissa Herrman. I’m a physician at family medicine at Cotton O’Neil North.
How did you get involved in family practice?
I chose family medicine for a variety of reasons. Part of it is that I think preventative health is important. And I like the idea of trying to keep my patients well.
Why did you choose to work at Stormont Vail-Cotton O’Neil?
Part of the reason I chose to come to Stormont Vail and Cotton O’Neil is I had worked in rural medicine for several years prior. And when it was time for a change, I wanted an organization that had a good reputation, offered complete services to their patients, and was within the Kansas region — because my family lives in Kansas, and I wanted to be able to stay close.
Why should patients trust you with their care?
Patients should trust me with their care because I am going to do my very best to always try to listen, be as complete as possible, and make the best medical judgment that I can in their best interests.
