Nurse Residency Tracks
New Graduate RN
The Nursing Residency Program at Stormont Vail Health provides residents learners with the opportunity to transition into their career with the support and encouragement of leaders and team members. Committed to the growth and development of staff, we empower your journey to be well-positioned to lead with confidence and competence under the foundation of excellence. New graduate RNs will experience intensive simulation-based education focused on their chosen specialty, in-depth explorations of nursing topics, mentorship from experienced nurses, structured peer support from their cohort-mates, and will complete a guided case study.
Stormont Vail Health’s nursing residency program designed to transition recent nursing grads, new nurse managers and new nurse hires into the practice, well-positioned and ready to lead with confidence and competency. Nurse Leaders
Designed for new and emerging nurse leaders, this program includes training on leadership topics both universal and unique to Stormont Vail, structured mentorship from veteran nurse leaders, peer support from other nurse leaders, and a full semester of guided preparation for the ANCC Nurse Manager Certification through the Baker School of Nursing.
