Weather Camera Airs from SVH Manhattan Campus

WIBW-TV, Channel 13, now has a weather camera at the top of Stormont Vail Health’s Manhattan Campus facility to share views of storms moving into the region from the west. The medical building sits high on a hill at the east side of the Kansas State University campus, along Manhattan Avenue. This provides some tremendous views across the K-State campus, including the football and basketball complexes, as well as farther west.

The camera, which went live last week, also provides the WIBW meteorologists with a 360-degree view so they can show the tail of storms as they move east. Our Manhattan Campus facility will be identified when views from the camera are aired.

We appreciate this unique opportunity to help inform our communities and region of weather situations so that people can be safe and prepared. Thank you to our Facilities and Information Systems team members who helped make this project become reality.
