Dialogue Coffee House Opens New Location at Stormont Vail Administrative Center
Stormont Vail Health, Capper Foundation, and Dialogue Coffee House recently held a grand opening ceremony for a new Dialogue location at the Stormont Vail Administrative Center, 400 S.W. 8th Ave.
The new location is Dialogue’s fifth coffee house in Topeka and will reinforce both organizations commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and the empowerment of all individuals in the community, regardless of ability.
“Opening Dialogue Coffee House at our Administrative Center is more than just serving coffee, it’s about creating opportunities and fostering inclusion,” said Page Bachman, Senior Vice President and Chief Experience Officer at Stormont Vail. “This collaboration with Dialogue and Capper Foundation represents our shared commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals throughout our community.”
Founded in 2019, and officially partnering with Capper Foundation in April 2023, Dialogue has continued to support the employment and advancement of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities providing safe spaces for community members to feel valued, enjoy independence, and access valuable career training.
“Today is an exciting milestone as we celebrate the opening of Dialogue Coffee House at the Stormont Vail Administrative Center,” said Zach Ahrens, President and CEO of Capper Foundation. “In partnership with Stormont Vail Health, we are creating a welcoming space that values people of all abilities, strengthens our communities, and expands career opportunities for Kansans of all abilities.

The expansion allows additional individuals living with disabilities to learn life skills, earn a paycheck, and find purpose in their work so they can be contributing members of our society.
The location at the Stormont Vail Administrative Center will be not open to the public.
