Foot & Ankle Clinic Expansion: What It Means for Patients

Our expanded Foot and Ankle Clinic makes it easier to keep patients here for the care they need, especially for complex conditions that were often referred outside our system.

Patients can now receive both routine and advanced foot and ankle care in one location, helping reduce delays and streamline their care experience.

That means…

  • Most patients can stay within Stormont Vail Health for specialty care
  • Fewer handoffs to outside providers for complex cases
  • Faster access to the right level of care

Now what?

  • When you see a patient with foot or ankle concerns (routine or complex), refer them to our Foot and Ankle Clinic.
  • Use direct scheduling in MyChart when appropriate
  • Let patients know they don’t need a referral

Patients can self-refer by calling 785-272-7600 or by talking to their primary care provider.
