Whether you need a check-up, strep test, or someone to help you start a heart-healthy diet, primary care is what you’re looking for. Our primary care providers will serve as your home base.

Types of Primary Care

Family Physicians

Family physicians treat any member of the family, regardless of age. They are often able to provide certain specialty services, such as obstetrics and gynecology.

Internal Medicine

Internists focus exclusively on adult medicine. They can diagnose and treat complex medical problems, working in both the office and our hospital.

Pediatrics

Pediatricians are trained to care for babies, children, and adolescents. They also handle vaccinations, physicals, general preventive medicine, and monitoring a child's growth and development. 

OB/GYN

Gynecologists are physicians who diagnose, treat, and care for the female reproductive organs. Obstetricians are physicians who provide care before, during, and after pregnancy. 

Behavioral Health

The Behavioral Health care team provides both inpatient and outpatient mental health treatment for children, teenagers, adults and senior patients. 

Services

Our primary care physicians offer a number of services to keep you healthy. These services include:

  • Annual physicals, sports physicals, and back-to-school exams
  • Preventive care and screenings (e.g., mammograms, bone density tests)
  • Healthy lifestyle education, like information about diet or vaccines
  • Diagnosis and treatment for common medical conditions, such as diabetes or high blood pressure
  • Diagnosis and treatment for minor illnesses, such as the flu or strep throat
  • Education about what to expect at each stage of life when you have a chronic illness
  • Referrals for specialists, if needed
