Help Put New Heart into Kansans’ Cardiac Care

Support the Stormont Vail Health Cardiac & Vascular Center Expansion

Help Us Put New Heart into Cardiac Care

We've set our heart on bringing leading cardiac care to thousands of people in Northeast Kansas.

The Stormont Vail Health Cardio and Vascular Center (CVC) provides minimally invasive procedures to treat heart disease. As we increasingly offer these services in an outpatient setting, now is the time to expand the CVC.

Your generosity will allow us to meet the growing need for accessible, innovative treatments in an upgraded setting that supports comfort and recovery:

A Radial Lounge with eight specialty recliners will give patients a comfortable place to relax and see visitors while recovering from uncomplicated procedures.

Two transesophageal echo (TEE) rooms will provide space to perform ultrasound procedures for detecting structural heart issues.

Five inpatient beds will offer a place for patients requiring extended stays following extensive surgical procedures.

A second electrophysiology bay will accommodate the growing procedure volume and support four new cardiovascular ultrasound bays.

Two consultation rooms will provide a private space for physicians to visit family members and share images of procedures to help them better understand their loved one's treatment.
