Flint Hills Campus Reaches 104 Days Without Major Safety Event
We’re proud to recognize our Flint Hills Campus for another win: 104 days (and counting) without a significant safety event.
“This milestone reflects what’s possible when our teams stay focused on safety and support one another every day,” said Tracy Duran, Administrative Director Regional Operations. We’re thankful for the team’s hard work and their daily dedication to delivering safe, high-quality care.
Thank You to Our EVS and Facilities Teams
Across the system, our Environmental Services and Facilities teams went above and beyond ensuring operations continued at all our locations during and after last night’s storms that resulted in power outages and flooding in some communities.
Working behind the scenes, they kept our facilities safe, clean, and operational, ensuring care could continue without interruption. Their efforts made it possible for our teams to stay focused on patients when it mattered most.
We are deeply grateful for their hard work, dedication, and teamwork. Your efforts do not go unnoticed. THANK YOU!
Community Health Improvement Week: June 8–12, 2026
This week, our Community Health Engagement team is sharing volunteer opportunities, education events, and resources for team members that reflect the work we accomplish with community partners.
Take a few minutes to learn more about the impact collaboration creates.
Stormont Vail Sponsorship Powered K-State DataFest
Stormont Vail Health was proud to partner with Kansas State University as a lead sponsor of this year’s DataFest, an international competition that brought together undergraduate students to solve real-world challenges using data.
Through this collaboration, Stormont Vail served not only as a sponsor, but also as the global data provider for the competition—giving students the opportunity to analyze de-identified patient journey data and develop insights to improve care and outcomes.
Hosted on K-State’s Manhattan campus, DataFest brought together student teams, faculty mentors and industry professionals for an intensive, hands-on learning experience that highlighted the growing role of data science in healthcare innovation.
This work reflected the strength of our academic partnership with K-State and our shared commitment to advancing research, education and the future healthcare workforce across the region.
