One Name. One System. ONE Stormont Vail.

Cotton O’Neil has been a defining part of the Stormont Vail Health system since 1995. Now, we are taking a patient-centered step to fully align our clinics and services under one unified name: Stormont Vail Health. This change reflects how care is already delivered today—through one connected system working together for our patients. By using one consistent name, we reduce confusion and help patients more easily recognize and navigate their care.

This does not change our care teams, locations, services, or commitment to safe, high-quality, compassionate care. It simply brings everything together under one name.

The transition will occur in phases, with patients beginning to see the Stormont Vail Health name used more consistently across clinics, communications, and signage. During this time, locations may be identified as “formerly Cotton O’Neil” to help maintain clarity and connection. Watch for more information and updates regarding the One Stormont Vail Health campaign throughout the coming months.

How do patient experience and technology come together to improve care?

Last week on Within Reason with Mike Matson, Renea Wilson, System Director of Patient Experience, and Christie Bergeron, System Director of IT Applications, shared how their teams partner to strengthen communication and care coordination across our system.

We Together Make Miracles Happen

From June 8 to July 5, 2026, Walmart and Sam’s Club invite customers to round up or donate at checkout to support Children’s Miracle Network at Stormont Vail Health.

You can help by spreading the word and thanking your local Walmart and Sam’s Club teams for supporting kids and families in our care.

Students Get a Firsthand Look at Life in Healthcare

Stormont Vail Health recently hosted our second annual Summer Scrubs program, giving local high schoolers a firsthand look at careers in healthcare.

In last week’s WIBW-TV “To Your Health,” Morgan Ray, Career Counselor, joined students to share why the experience matters and how it helps shape their future goals.
