Stormont Vail Health Trauma Center Receives Level II Recertification

Stormont Vail Health has again been verified as a Level II Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons. This achievement recognizes the Trauma Center’s dedication to providing optimal care for critically injured patients and is the gold standard for trauma care.

Treatment at a verified trauma center means patients receive quality, evidenced-based care with outcomes proven to be superior to care received at non-trauma verified hospitals. Trauma Services oversees the verification process for Level II certification, but every department that assists with the care of trauma patients is involved in the process to meet the patient-care requirements set forth by the ACS.

Thank you for your dedication and commitment to maintaining Stormont Vail as the best place to receive care.
