Stormont Vail Health Walk with a Doc to Focus on VBACs and Birth Choices
Stormont Vail Health invites community members to attend its September Walk with a Doc featuring Dr. Kimberly Brey, a specialist in reproductive health, pregnancy care, and gynecologic surgery. The free event will take place from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19, at Washburn University Lee Arena, 1901 S.W. Mulvane St., Topeka.
During the event, Dr. Brey will discuss vaginal birth after cesarean, commonly known as VBAC, as well as broader topics related to pregnancy care, reproductive health, and birth options.
“Every pregnancy is unique, and people often have questions about the choices they have,” said Dr. Brey. “This walk is a chance to learn more about VBACs and ask questions.” The September event may be especially valuable for people who have had a previous C-section, are pregnant or planning a pregnancy, support a loved one through pregnancy, or want to learn more about maternal health and birth choices.
