Stormont Vail Health Welcomes Dr. Kaitlynn Christiansen to Manhattan Campus Primary Care

Stormont Vail Health is pleased to introduce Kaitlynn Christiansen, M.D., a board-certified family medicine physician with lifelong ties to the Manhattan community, to the Stormont Vail Manhattan Campus, 1325 Research Park Dr., 66502.

With its blend of year-round residents, students, and service members, she finds the community’s diversity both impactful, fascinating, and meaningful. She believes family medicine is uniquely positioned to serve diverse populations.

“Everybody has a slightly different approach to life, and that’s where family medicine comes in,” Dr. Christiansen said. “We meet the person where they are and try to figure out what we can do to help.”

After earning her medical degree from The University of Kansas School of Medicine, Dr. Christiansen completed her family medicine residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. She then served at Irwin Army Community Hospital before returning to her roots in Manhattan. Her commitment to community health led her to join Stormont Vail, where she advocates for patients across all stages of life.

“I’m most looking forward to getting to know people over the course of their lifespan. I hope to be here and watch kids grow up, families change, new parents become grandparents, and all that life entails. That’s really the joy I’ve found in family medicine.”

Dr. Christiansen is accepting new patients. Call (785) 537-2651 to schedule an appointment.
