Summer Scrubs 2026 Inspires the Future of Healthcare

This summer, Stormont Vail Health welcomed the next generation of healthcare professionals through our Summer Scrubs program. During this immersive, weeklong experience, high schoolers entering their senior year gained hands-on insight into what it’s like to work in various healthcare roles.

Throughout the week, students stepped beyond the classroom and into real-world environments, from the Emergency Room (ER) and Pharmacy to Surgery, physical therapy, social work, and more. Each day offered a new chance to explore the many paths that support patient care.

By the end of the program, students left with a clearer vision of where their interests may lead. Just as important, they experienced firsthand the teamwork, compassion, and commitment that define our organization.

Summer Scrubs would not be possible without our Talent Acquisition team and the many team members who mentored, guided, and inspired students along the way.

We look forward to building on this momentum in future sessions and continuing to connect students with meaningful opportunities to learn, grow, and discover their path in healthcare.
