Take Steps Toward Better Health: Next Walk with a Doc in Junction City

Stormont Vail Health will host Walk with a Doc from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Simpler Stadium, 900 N. Eisenhower Dr., in Junction City. If it rains, the program will move indoors to the Junction City Municipal Building, 700 N. Jefferson St.

This month’s walk features Dr. Jason Butler, an emergency medicine specialist at Stormont Vail Health Flint Hills Campus Hospital and Walk-in Services clinic. Dr. Butler will lead a brief, relaxed discussion on men’s health, including preventative screenings to everyday healthy habits that can make a long-term difference.

Open to all ages and activity levels, Walk with a Doc offers a chance to connect with a physician outside of the clinic, ask questions, and take simple steps to better health, both physically and mentally.
