“Maggie is a compassionate nurse who demonstrated what it means to treat others with compassion and dignity. Her simple actions made a positive difference in the life of a patient who was feeling lost and overwhelmed by difficult circumstances.

When this patient felt stuck, Maggie took the time to truly listen and understand their needs. Through her conversation, she learned that something as simple as a fresh set of clothes would give the patient a renewed sense of security and confidence. Rather than just hearing the request, Maggie went above and beyond to fulfill it. She personally took care of washing the patient’s clothes. She secured a new set, helping the patient regain a sense of dignity and hope in the process.

The patient’s response was deeply moving, shedding tears of gratitude for Maggie’s kindness.
