We Recognize Brad Parry, ATC

Congratulations to Brad Parry, MS, LAT, ATC, and Stormont Vail Health Athletic Trainer Supervisor for his induction into the Mid-America Athletic Trainers’ Association Hall of Fame!

The MAATA recognized Brad, a member of the Kansas Athletic Trainers’ Society’s Hall of Fame since 2014, for his contributions to high school athletics and his profession, including:

  • Working with Kansas legislators to enact licensure requirements for athletic trainers in 2004.
  • Serving on the Kansas Athletic Trainers’ Society executive board from 2003-2011.
  • Sitting on the Kansas State High School Activities Association committee that revised high school sports physical forms.

“It is really an honor to be recognized by your peers for this Hall of Fame induction,” Parry said. “I find it very humbling to be included with many of the great athletic trainers from this seven-state area.”

Brad’s induction comes as the longtime Washburn Rural High School ATC prepares to retire from a 40-year-long ATC career at the end of this school year.

We appreciate everything you’ve done to support our community, Brad, and congratulations on your well-deserved achievement!
