Stormont Vail Health Earns an ‘A’ Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group

Stormont Vail Health is proud to announce that it earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit watchdog focused on patient safety. An “A” grade places Stormont Vail in the top 32% of hospitals nationwide.

This “A” grade demonstrates our unwavering commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence. It’s a direct result of the dedication our providers, nurses, and care teams show every day in providing the highest quality care to our community.

“To Your Health” on WIBW-TV Tonight – Sports Physical Day

The upcoming Sports Physical Day for student athletes, sponsored by Stormont Vail Health, will be the topic of tonight’s WIBW-TV “To Your Health” segment. Sports physicals, with no appointment needed, will be offered for $20 each from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at Cotton O’Neil Kanza Park (west entrance, second floor). The “To Your Health” segment will  air at 10 p.m. tonight on WIBW-TV, Channel 13. The segment typically repeats at 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. Fridays on 13 News This Morning and is posted on wibw.com.

Dialogue Coffee House Opens at Stormont Vail Health Administrative Center

Stormont Vail Health, Capper Foundation, and Dialogue Coffee House recently held a grand opening ceremony for the new Dialogue location at the Admin Center. The new location is Dialogue’s fifth coffee house in Topeka. The cafe is open for team members 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Team Members Enjoy Picnic with Pups

Recently, our Paw Squad was out and about enjoying lunch with team members to celebrate National Pet Therapy Day. Our furry friends brought smiles, stress relief, and lots of tail wags. A big thank you to our Paw Squad team for bringing joy to the hospital.
