Dr. Salah Najm Named Ingram’s Top Doctor

Congratulations to Salah Najm, M.D., for being named a 2023 Top Doctor by Ingram’s Magazine. Dr. Najm, Vice President, Acute Care Services, and pulmonologist and intensivist at Stormont Vail Health, is featured in the magazine’s current edition.

Dr. Najm shares in the article that his fascination for biology, medicine and understanding disease processes took root in his native Lebanon, “but he sees health care today through a lens polished by exposure to medical practices around the world.” Dr. Najm found during his educational experiences, that his true passion was in bedside patient care so he pursued a practice in critical care medicine.

“I found it deeply fulfilling to connect with patients, assist in their healing process and communicate with their families. Seeing the positive impact I can make in people’s lives is truly rewarding,” he said.

Dr. Najm has been with Stormont Vail Health since 2012. Congratulations, Dr. Najm, we are so proud of you – and proud you are on the Stormont Vail Health team!

Dr. Cutting and Wamego Clinic Cited as “The Best”

Congratulations to Bradley Cutting, M.D., for being recognized as the “Best Doctor” in the Wamego Times’ The Best of Times Awards 2023. The team of the Cotton O’Neil Wamego Clinic was named as the “Best Medical Practice” in the Times’ recognition program. The Best of Times was published Nov. 2. Thank you to the Wamego team for the great care you provide our patients in the Wamego area.

Flint Hills Campus Team Deserves a “Thank You”

Thank you to the Flint Hills Campus team that participated last week in the KEEP Tour in Junction City. KEEP stands for Kansas Employment Exploration Tour. This was an opportunity to connect with members of the military who are in the decision-making process of where they would like to live and work after completing their military service. The Flint Hills Campus team provided a tour, remarks and materials about the services provided at our Junction City clinic and hospital, as well as job opportunities at Stormont Vail.

Join Us to Support & Celebrate Veterans Day, November 10–13

Veterans Day is this Saturday, Nov. 11. As a proud supporter of veterans who work in and receive care from our organization, Stormont Vail Health is recognizing Veterans Day during a ceremonial flag retreat and reveille observance at the Stormont Vail Topeka Campus Hospital and Flint Hills Campus.

Lowering Ceremony: Friday, Nov. 10, at 5 p.m.

Raising Ceremony: Monday, Nov. 13, at 7 a.m.

Veterans Day Recognition Stickers

On Saturday, Nov. 11, our door screeners will ask patients and team members to identify as veterans. Anyone who self-identifies will receive a recognition sticker. We encourage veterans to wear their stickers throughout their visit or workday.

If you see someone with a Veteran sticker, please take the time to connect with them, thank them for their service, and ask about their story!

We together,

Dr. Kenagy
