Building Blocks Instructor Wins Crystal Apple Award

Congratulations to Angie Vickery, a preschool instructor at Building Blocks Early Learning Center, for receiving the Crystal Apple Award from radio station Majic 107.7. The Crystal Apple Award showcases educators in our community who are making a difference.

Angie was nominated by Katheryn Louderback who said that Angie’s “exceptional and unwavering dedication” to preschool education at Building Blocks helped prepare her child for kindergarten. “With her boundless patience, kindness, and genuine love for the children, she has not only inspired a love for learning but also instilled valuable life skills,” said the nomination. “The impact of her amazing work resonates not only with the students, but also with their families, who have repeatedly expressed gratitude for her positive influence.”

Angie received a Crystal Apple Award with her name on it and a prize package from Prairie Band Casino and Resort. Building Blocks is in the running for a $1,000 donation that will be given away in January 2024.
