We applaud Keely Wilson, a nurse in our Pediatric ICU, for receiving a DAISY Award after she encouraged a young patient following a dirt bike accident.

“Keely was always encouraging our son by telling him, ‘You’ve got this!’ and would challenge him when things got difficult. Our son is not the most talkative person, so it was very important to have a nurse who could encourage him to communicate his needs and feelings,” her nomination read.
