Robyn Moran, D.O., Joins Stormont Vail Health Rheumatology

Stormont Vail Health welcomes Dr. Robyn Moran, a board-certified rheumatologist with 10 years of medical experience, including five years specializing in diagnosing and treating autoimmune diseases. She joins our Rheumatology team at Cotton O’Neil Rheumatology-Garfield, 901 S.W. Garfield Ave., 66606, in Topeka.

To Dr. Moran, education is key. She knows that the relationship between patient and provider is collaborative. When patients feel informed, they are empowered to take charge of their health.

“Many patients have never heard of rheumatology until they need it. I strive to educate them about their conditions to empower their involvement in their care,” she said.

Dr. Moran knows that rheumatological conditions can be overwhelming, especially in the “gray zone” where solutions may not be clear. She emphasizes the importance of open communication with patients and other specialists during these times.

“Effective communication across multiple specialties is crucial in rheumatology,” she notes. “At Stormont Vail, having an integrated system makes it easier for us to work together for our patients’ well-being.”

To schedule an appointment with Dr. Moran, call (785) 354-5130 or contact your primary care provider for a referral.
