Stormont Vail Health Hosts Breast Cancer Prevention Walk in Junction City

What’s a simple thing anyone can do to help reduce the risk of breast cancer?

Dr. Daniel Regier, general surgeon at Stormont Vail Health Flint Hills Campus, will tackle that question at the next Walk with a Doc in Junction City. The one-mile walk begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Old Junction City Football Field, 900 N. Eisenhower Drive.

The walk will focus on breast cancer prevention, giving community members a chance to learn, ask questions, and get moving alongside Dr. Regier. In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, participants are encouraged to make it a pink out.

Bring water, wear comfortable walking shoes, and come with plenty of questions.
