Stroke & Heart Care: Connected for Your Health

Heart disease and stroke share many risk factors, such as high blood pressure, AFib, and vascular disease. That’s why our Cardiology and Neurology teams work to prevent events, streamline emergency care, and support recovery.

AFib and Stroke Risk

AFib can increase the risk of stroke. Monitoring and managing abnormal heart rhythms can be an important part of reducing that risk.

Collaborative Treatment

After a stroke, a targeted cardiac evaluation can help your care team better understand your heart health and plan ongoing care.

Shared Diagnostics

Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), mobile cardiac telemetry, and implantable loop records help identify heart-related causes of stroke.

Preventive Focus

Lifestyle support, medication management, and rehabilitation can all play a role in protecting your heart and brain health.
